Club Academies

The Pep has fielded numorous calls regarding the size of player squads and the difficulties certain clubs have had in managing the current set up.

As things stand Clubs are allowed 25 over 21 players in their sqaud and 7 under 21s who can still be in the 7 until 23 if they were bought or discovered by the club on or before their 21st year with regard to their age on the game.

Upon discussion with other memebers of the pep we are pleased to announce that clubs will be afforded space for another 5 under 23 age group players in the form of an "Academy"

Any players age 23 or under can be placed in this academy which will run along side the 7 under 21s and 25 over 21 squad.

One must note that players place in academies are not registered to play as part of the 32 man squad and they can only be registered during any given transfer windows the Pep decides upon.  Like wise Players currently in you registered squad can only be moved to the academies during these times.

In order to qualify for an academy and an extra 5 under 23 age group players, one must pay a sanctioning fee of £20 to the Pep.

Once paid you are welcome to place 5 players of your choice as under 23 in there, but rememeber these are not registered as part of the 32 man playing squad. so choose wisely.
